About HostCo:
The University of Sydney Union have recently launched a Gold Licensed catering business named HostCo that offers modern Australian cuisine with a hint of international flavour to our discerning clients at the University of Sydney. We offer a range of heritage venues and impressive function rooms at the University of Sydney, combining a historic atmosphere with contemporary catering and expert event management. No two days are the same with events we cater for including (but in no way limited to) weddings, conferences, high teas and product launches.

The Functions Coordinator is responsible for the day to day operations of the HostCo function and event business. This position is the frontline / face of the business and must portray the quality and professionalism of the brand in everything they do.
This position is shared with our existing Functions Manager. Together you will be responsible for the day-to-day set up and execution of events and the appropriate control of costs and labour resources to successfully deliver on client’s needs.
This role would be ideal for someone looking to work in a fast paced environment and further develop their managerial skills.
