About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person who uses their strong interpersonal skills to ensure consistent and exceptional customer service to work in our Operations Department as a Casual Storeperson.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive and dispatch stock
- Undertake Food Safety controls
- Assist with organisation of store rooms
- General administrative tasks relating to stock management such as stock purchasing, issuing delivery dockets and invoicing
- Participating in cycle counts and stocktakes
- General warehouse duties
Projected Hours:
The hours of this role are up to 38 hours per week, between 6:30am and 2:30pm Monday to Friday
(There is the possibility of additional shifts depending on business needs)
*Applicants who are available to work Monday to Friday are preferred.
Essential Criteria:
- At least 6 months experience in a similar role
- Current Fork Lift licence
- Demonstrated good literacy and numeracy skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to apply common sense and effective problem solving
- Understanding of safe manual handling techniques
- Ability to lift up to 15kg
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office
Desirable Criteria:
- Driver’s licence
- Experience with a computerised stock management system
- A background in retail and/or food and beverage safety
- Knowledge of HACCP and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
The Pay:
$24.56 per hour + 9.5% Superannuation
